Mirari Biosciences, Inc., founded in 2000, invents, develops, and markets proprietary platform biotechnologies to enhance healthcare.

Mirari owns a broad pending U.S. and foreign patent portfolio that comprehensively covers the Company’s two technologies: Microwave-Accelerated Surface Chemistry^TM (MASC^TM) and Direct Protein Amplification (Peplica^TM). Both are novel platform technologies that address large and important biomedical markets.

Mark T. Martin, Ph.D., the inventor of MASC^TM and Peplica^TM technologies and the Company’s founder, is Mirari’s President and CEO.

Dr. Martin is a native of Rochester, Minnesota and received his professional training at the University of North Dakota, Harvard Medical School, and Oxford University. Prior to founding Mirari, he was Principal Scientist and Director of the Discovery Research Group at IGEN International, Inc. and Vice President of Research and Technology Development at TheraMed, Inc. Dr. Martin has extensive experience as a scientist, inventor, and entrepreneur. He has published numerous articles in scientific journals and books and has lectured internationally in diverse fields of science and technology including protein chemistry, enzyme kinetics, nanotechnology, inorganic and organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, biophysics, and molecular biology. He is listed as an inventor on over 25 issued United States patents and many foreign patents. Dr. Martin has also co-founded Imprint Medicine, Inc., a pharmaceutical biotechnology company dedicated to the development of nanoscale polymeric drugs and vaccines.
